Taxes when buying a plot of land

Notary's fees and registration costs - approximately 0.5% of the purchase price - as well as taxes must be added to the purchase price. If the seller is an individual, a transfer of ownership tax (ITP) of between 7 and 9% must be paid, depending on the region. If the seller is a legal entity, a VAT of 21% will be charged on the purchase of the land. You should also not forget about the tax on legally documented deeds (stamp duty).
